Welcome to WillowTree Bread
Planning for TOMATO GROWING . . .
If you think you may want plants from us this year please join our special Tomato Plant email list.
This list will be the group where I email details like varieties and availability and to send updates to only those who are interested - joining is NOT a commitment to buy just a place to get information. Although there are often extra plants during the season it helps our planning to grow to order - we are a very small operation!!! All our plants are grown using organic methods and materials |

Hi there!
Thank you for visiting the website of WillowTree Bread.
We own a small hobby farm in the heart of North Saanich on beautiful Vancouver Island. Charles is a hobby baker and in our micro-bakery he makes artisan bread which we sell all through the year to enthusiastic lovers of Real Bread ! Our artisan loaves are made using traditional long fermentation methods and organic flours. We are continually looking for ways to improve the quality of our bread and creating interesting flavours to enhance our repertoire. We often use our own pesticide-free farm produce to make loaves such as - Apricot, Walnut & Lavender Loaf; Black Olive, Garlic and Rosemary Focaccia; or Tuscan Herb Loaf. Also, right here on the premises, we stone-grind Canadian grown organic Red Fife wheat which makes extremely tasty and nourishing loaves. In the summer we supply North Saanich Farmers Market with Pain au Chocolat and Croissant which Charles makes from scratch. This type of pastry is a special passion for Charles and the results are mouth watering! We sell our bread by a pre-order email system which means that there is no waste and folk get exactly the bread they like from the week's menu!! If you are interested in trying our bread please see here for more information. Thank you! Charles and Gillian |
